Less Post, More Email
Technology is wonderful (when it works) and external forces as well as our commitment to strive to provide you great service, we have decided to move away from communications via Australia Post.
As much as possible, all written communications will be made via email with you.
This may be 'about time' for some clients, and this seems to be the more expedient and reliable way to provide necessary documents and communications with you.
It also concerns us that Australia Post has been openly canvassing reduced delivery services across Australia and this could cause unacceptable delays in reaching you with critical tax-related documents. Further, the Australian Taxation Office will be increasing its electronic communications in the next 12 - 24 months, and there is 'no point' in receiving fast electronic communications from the ATO and then slow it down to sending details to you via Australia Post.
We suspect you will be very happy with this approach but please contact our office if you have any concerns.
At this stage, we expect to continue to check our PO Box on a daily basis, but if there is a large drop in mail received we may reduce this to 2 or 3 times a week.
